CAROWINDS, Charlotte, NC, Nov.12, 2022 — Alas, the winter season has made its way to Carowinds to launch the WinterFest of 2022! There will be traditional entertainment that will be opening on November 24th. This year’s WinterFest will be swirling around with millions of beautiful lights. There will also be a bright, shiny, and beautiful Christmas tree for the perfect view for everyone to see. WinterFest will include tons of amazing and entertaining activities like ice skating, parades, holiday shows, delicious special holiday menu, and falling snow. WinterFest will be open until December 30th, don’t miss the fun while it’s still available!
At the WinterFest, there will be an amazing parade arriving to the North entrance, coming from the South entrance. It will start at 9:30 PM to 10 PM. The parade will have Mr and Mrs Claus, elves, nut crackers, and many more!
Families will enjoy their great time together riding 16 rides, including the Copperhead Strike, Afterburn, and many more. There will also be an ice skating rink that will have colorful, bright snowflake lights covering the floor. Last, but not least, horse carriages will be making their way in the WinterFest.
Carowinds’ Chef has prepared over 20 seasonal menu items for the WinterFest. WinterFest includes carved turkey & ham, meatball bread bowl, turducken burger, s’mores cone, gingerbread funnel cake, hot chocolate, and more.
Want to shop for some exclusive seasonal items? Go for it! There will be ugly Christmas sweaters, Santa’s stocking stuffer, North Pole Mercantile, and more.
Guests can visit once for free when they purchase a 2023 gold or platinum season pass. It will be available through January 7th, 2023.
