Famous Deeds

Was known as the 2nd best warrior in the Trojan War, behind Achilles. The only person who was even close to defeating him was Hector of Troy who had a day long battle with him that only ended up in a tie. When Achilles was murdered via his heel, his armor was up for grabs and Ajax was one of the prime candidates to receive it, however it was given to Odysseus and Ajax killed a bunch of sheep he thought were the Greeks who he felt betrayed him. When he figured out they were just sheep he was so embarrassed that he stabbed himself in the chest.

Extremely Strong, Incredibly Tall, Had no Fear

Famous Stories

The play made about his life was based largely around the story of him murdering the sheep out of his jealousy and pride towards Odysseus receiving Achilles armor.

After leading the Titans into battle against Zeus and losing, Zeus punished him by condemning him to hold up the heavens for eternity, as well as guiding sailors via Astronomy.
