No To Death Penalty
Does killings will make our country peaceful? Is it really the only way to stop the endless violence and crimes in our country? Does death penalty will make us all satisfied about our hate to the one who does crimes?
Killing is not the answer. We are all humans, God sees us all equally. All of us has our dark side, all of us makes mistakes. We’re not perfect, all of us deserves many chances. We don’t have the rights to end everyone’s life.
God sent everyone of us here in earth for a purpose, this made our life important. So, how dare the government use death penalty? The problem with death penalty has always been the unjust handling of cases in which innocent people might be given the death penalty simply because they want to have a suspect. Can you imagine to die for a crime you did not commit?
Killing is not the only way to stop the endless violence and crimes in our country. I believe in rehabilitation over punishment. As I said in the second paragraph, every one of us deserves many chances. There is always hope in all us. If everyone of us has our dark side, surely we also have our good side.
Death penalty serves as the barrier in our country from attaining peace that we want. The death penalty is cruel, inhuman and degrading. Death penalty denies human’s rights. Killing killers won’t bring back victims. KILLING IS NOT THE ANSWER.
