#28: Envelope, Stamps
and the Royal Mail
Sending mail in England is different than in Germany.
First of all you need stamps. There are two different kinds: 1st and 2nd class stamps. In contrast to the German system there is no specific price on the stamps. That’s why the price per stamp can be adjusted more easily than in Germany. As the German people know, the price changed two times in the last few years.
For international shipping you can choose between two different delivery options. International Economy is cheap but takes up to 6 weeks to get the shipment to its recipient. International Standard with Airmail is more expensive but will deliver within 5 working days.
We will see what happens to the letter I sent.
