Government of Tianjin, China invests in the Advanced Telecommunication Chain Industry Alliance — Matrix AI Network

It was on December 4th of 2018 when the government of Tianjin, China officially announced support and investment for the Advanced Telecommunication Chain Industry Alliance. This announcement brought much excitement for Matrix AI Network as it serves as one of the founding members of the alliance. Furthermore, Matrix AI Network is the only blockchain project of the alliance, making its position in the cooperation exclusive and inherently valuable.

What is the purpose of the Advanced Telecommunication Chain Industry Alliance?

The Advanced Telecommunication Chain Industry Alliance “aims to oversee, promote and accelerate the development of Tianjin’s telecommunications and blockchain industries. To do so, complementary entities from industry, academia, and research have come together to pool resources in the spirit of collaboration and exchange. The Alliance’s projects will be guided by the technological innovation needs of Tianjin’s telecommunications and blockchain industries. The MATRIX AI Network is the only blockchain company in the alliance.”¹ The overall goal of the alliance is to inform the decisions that the Tianjin government makes in terms of policy setting in regards to technological development, implementation and more.

In this initiative, Matrix is partnered with some of the biggest entities in China. For more context, lets take a look at some of these key partners:

Matrix AI Network

Furthermore, the company has established state-of-the-art R&D centres in USA, Sweden, China and so forth, and employs over 30,000 research professionals in the development of next-generation technologies including 5G, the Internet of Things, NFV, SDN, Cloud Computing and Big Data. ZTE has filed applications for more than 72,000 patents, with over 33,000 granted. Since 2010, ZTE has been ranked among the world’s Top-3 for patent applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) each year, according to the World Intellectual Property Organization.”

Tianjin University

“Tianjin University is the first modern higher education institution in China, and now a national university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Class A Double First Class University. It was established in 1895 as Tientsin In 1951, after restructuring, it was renamed Tianjin University, and became one of the largest multidisciplinary engineering universities in China. The university was one of the first 16 universities accredited by the nation in 1959. It is also among the first group of institutions of higher learning in the national “211-Project” to which priority is given in construction. In order to carry out the “21st Century Education Revitalizing Action Plan”, in late 2000 the Ministry of Education and Tianjin Municipality signed an agreement which aims to build Tianjin University into a 1st-class university in the world in the 21st century.
