Despite its low profile, Matrix AI Network (MAN) is proving that it’s the blockchain of the future as it continues to secure high level partnerships.

There are many factors that contribute to a blockchain project’s success. Such factors typically entail strong fundamentals, a competent team, and an overall solid foundation. Even though this statement is commonly agreed to be true, it often takes much more for a project to stand out as a legitimate contender in the space.

What is one of the main factors that confirm a project’s legitimacy? The answer is partnerships.

If you’ve spent any amount of time analyzing the cryptocurrency market, you know that partnerships are a huge deal. We’ve seen partnerships in the cryptocurrecy space move markets, garner mainstream attention, as well legitimizing a project. Even more than that, partnerships can help blockchain projects achieve the ultimate end goal; mass adoption.

Despite keeping a low profile thus far, there is one project that has secured some of the biggest partnerships in the cryptospace, this project is none other than Matrix AI Network (MAN). This article will highlight some of the most significant partnerships Matrix has secured thus far.

Matrix’s partnership with China’s trillion dollar One Belt One Road initiative

In 2018, Matrix announced that it was the only blockchain project to secure a strategic partnership with the state owned OBOR development center. In the partnership, Matrix will assist with training and consultation in both AI and blockchain related fields. Furthermore, Matrix will act as the primary application platform in both fields for the center. In addition, all OBOR contracts that go through the center relating to blockchain will go through Matrix.

What is OBOR? Led by the Chinese government, the One Belt One Road (OBOR) project will be the largest infrastructure project in history thus far. The OBOR initiative consists of both land and maritime trade routes that will connect China and east Asia to Europe, Africa and southeast Asia. Aside from its intercontinental reach, OBOR will connect roughly two thirds of the world’s population. The initiative will further progress the inter-connectivity of people, ideas, and the global economy.

Matrix’s second OBOR related partnership: IDA

In May, Matrix announced its second partnership related to OBOR, this time being with IDA company. IDA is an asset digitization and tracking company that primarily focuses on OBOR ventures. As of today, IDA holds approximately 3 billion USD worth of assets in the form of natural resources. The partnership between IDA and Matrix allows these resources to be further digitized using the Matrix blockchain. In the end, this will allow assets to be more easily tracked as well as being granted the ability to transfer such value quicker and easier. IDA will also be among one of the first dApps to launch on the Matrix blockchain.

“MATRIX will work with IDA to provide technical support and solutions. IDA will also use the MATRIX public blockchain at the core of their solution.”- Matrix Network

Matrix’s partnership with Huobi Labs

During Matrix’s April conference, Huobi Labs founder Ted Que announced the partnership between Huobi Labs and Matrix, stating that “Huobi will build the ecosystem and community with Matrix.” Furthermore, some of the incubated projects coming from Huobi Labs will be built on the Matrix blockchain. It’s also worth mentioning that Matrix received a high score in Huobi’s systematic digital asset ranking system, further highlighting the overall potential of the project. Lastly, fans can expect to hear more on this initiative in the near future.

Huobi Labs is Huobi’s billion dollar blockchain incubator service. It provides benefits such as capital funding, stable networks as well as a multitude of other perks.

Matrix announces cooperation with Bitmain

In one of the June weekly AMA sessions, Matrix revealed they would be cooperating with Bitmain. The focus of this cooperation is to help eliminate any possible ASIC mining power attacks that could possibly pose a threat to the system. In addition to ASIC mining research, Matrix and Bitmain are also working on the development of an AI chip related project. Lastly, Bitmain was one of the driving forces that helped Matrix secure a place on Huobi’s autonomous exchange, “HADAX”. During the review process, BITMAIN acknowledged the practical methods Matrix used to solve many of the key issues currently facing the blockchain space.

“Founded in the end of 2013, Bitmain Technologies is devoted to providing high performance supercomputing chip, hardware and software products. Main business line of the company includes Cryptocurrency and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Currently, the Bitmain-made miner (AntMiner) takes up 85%+ of the bitcoin miner market”- Bitmain

Conclusion

Despite being a few months away from mainnet, Matrix is already showing the potential of being one of the few legit blockchain projects of the future. Also, you probably thought this Matrix partnership segment was concluded… this is only part one of the series. Be sure to stay tuned for part 2.
