Biz Barcelona
BARCELONA · MAY 31, 2017; 9ineSports participated in the BizBarcelona event at the Montjuic Venue, along with Barcelona’s entrepreneurs and SME’s. The event allowed entrepreneurs, businesses and start-up companies to learn ways of competing in today’s changing digital environment.
Being among 70 other exhibitors, 9ineSports was able to set themselves apart from other businesses with their unique outlook on enhancing sports fans experiences with the help of technology and social media. The event provided businesses with practical learning experiences and expert advice on “business creation and management funding, innovation, new opportunities and trends, 2.0 marketing and communication, sales and internationalization, social economy.”
The sports start-ups conference organized by BLE Barcelona and represented by the founder Josep Maria Valero, allowed the Catalan start-ups to discuss the successes and challenges faced in the sports environments of important cities in Europe. First Vision, 3D Digital Venue, and 9ineSports were the three startup companies representing sports fan engagement and technology at the conference.
9ineSports was born in 2016 with the mission to provide the first complete network for sports fans, a network that covers all the sports fans needs in one single place, a solution that enhances the relationship between clubs and fans. 9ineSports shares new sports experiences with anyone that becomes part of the 9ineSports community. Individual fans and clubs can interact with one another in an exclusive sports network with updated social media content.

Matheus Provinciali, Chief Executive Officer for 9ineSports, was one of the business startup heads who spoke to present businesses about what his goals were for the company.
“We are working with teams in Spain and look forward to future partnerships with clubs in France, Italy, Brazil, Latin America and the U.S.,” said Provinciali. “We want sports to come together on one platform because we know fans are interested in following more than one team or player. Fans do not want to waste time searching through numerous media outlets to get the sports content they’re looking for.”
While at the event, Provinciali expressed that today the demand for technologies and solutions to enhance a sports fan engagement was at an all-time high.
3D Digital Venue CEO, Francis Casado, understood the importance of what Provinciali and 9ineSports hoped to achieve in fan engagement. The 3D Digital Venue feature would allow users to buy the best tickets from a 360-degree model of a clubs stadium.
“If all clubs had a platform where they could buy tickets and have these new experiences it would be beneficial for everyone,” said Provinciali. “For example, in Barcelona we get a large number of tourists every year and they miss out on opportunities to go to games because they are unfamiliar with schedules of both city teams.”
The upcoming generation of soccer players would have the opportunity to train at the best summer camps while getting the chance to learn another language and make international friends.
“This platform would give anyone invested in soccer the chance to travel and grow as individuals with the help of these new experiences,” said Provinciali.
Clubs will have another channel to discover new talent at a global scale by going onto the site and looking into up and coming athletes through 9ineSports.
