(Updated 6th Jan 2017)The music media is a buzz with rumours of the possible reformation of chaos magic masters disguised as pop musicians The KLF. L’electronique journeys down the rabbit hole to the lost continent of Mu to report.
We shall set the stage for those who may not know or who may have forgotten with the last appearance of our notorious allies with this quote from DAZED: “The KLF, one of pop music’s most subversive groups, broke up in 1992 by deleting their entire back catalogue, teaming up with Extreme Noise Terror at the BRIT Awards, taking a machine gun on stage, and shooting the audience with blanks. It’s now 2017, marking the 23rd anniversary of the burning.”
We won’t intro the reader into the importance of the KLF both musically and esoterically (google harder) — this new communication is more than just a rehash megamix — there’s serious coded intel for those with the eyes to see. The closing statement see Drummond discuss “knowledge’ and proceeds narration “…Drummond deliberately shrouds the activities with KLF and K Foundation in layers of mystery always refraining to say exactly what it all adds up to”.
Are they reforming? Does it matter? This recent activation answers all that needs. We aren’t going to let the cat out of the bag either, but we will leave some breadcrumbs here for serious fans and spectators alike. Take it as woo-woo pop propaganda or a call to action as you will.
What we know: Vimeo user “Cale Leth” new account active from 01/01/17. Simultaneous activity on: https://twitter.com/w___t___f (active since October 2016) and http://2017.wtf/. The website data leads to dead ends 2017.wtf is registered through godaddy also since October 2016. The website features an interactive smiley face as well as downloadable poster and links to social media. It’s suggested the reader check outs the liked video on said vimeo account.

Interestingly in early November 2015 Rosin Murphy posted a picture in her facebook page stating “#Klf #Milf tour starts soon”. Whilst at first glance this seems coincidental — further inspection is warranted. Rosin also had further KLF “activities” later that month.

In the videos first few moments (Post KOPYRIGHT propaganda), static footage of JFK’s assassination breaks through. Readers of Illuminatus! series and others will note this reference immediately. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act mandated that in 2017 all remaining JFK records and redactions be released.
I digress, the video then intros with an interview on creation magic and creativity “any act of creation is a magical act” before moving to a short film a re-imagining/re-edit of the KLF’s “The Rites of Mu” (Narrated by Martin Sheen) 1997 - The re-edited soundtrack and images altered to tell a slightly different tale.
Within the re-edit several themes are noted. After the narrator announces “I know everything will be climaxing and what follows will either be enlightenment or madness” the words “Guerra” are audible in the inconceivable language spoken during the rites.
After the Rites re-edit, we are then taken into a historical journey of the KLF noting significant influences and artistic ventures. Illuminatus!, ABBA, Dr Who are all referenced. Other noted semiotic tones include the burning of the 1million Quid, law of fives (“The Five”), principa discordia, the burning eye, number 23. Gnome Sayin hand holds us through to “confidential financial information disclosed with the explicit direction of the K Foundation”. Those of you into the art of cymatics might want to explore further here also.

On Jan 5, photo posted by Cally Callomon, editor of Eastfolk Chronicle — (who also just happens to be Bill Drummond’s manager) which appears to announce the duo’s return as the JAMS on August 23 this year. According to the Eastfolk Chronicle this signifies an official communication under the guise “K2” announcing a return to activity after a break of 23 years and reveals that debunking is one of the activities that will not happen and gives a date for late 2017. The plot thickens!

KLF Fan Kristoppher points out that BD’s Bio has included the following text since around late 2015 “Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty’s sculpture The Twenty-Three Year Moratorium will be completed by 23 August 2017.”
THE confirmation: Jimmy Caughty tweets the K2Planthire web address. In other words — it’s on like Donkeykong. The clever folk at KLF facebook suggest that whilst they may not be working as KLFor K Foundation, the JAMMs and K@ were never disbanded so to speak. Perhaps the 4 (or 5) handmaidens will reveal the What, Where, How, When and Why shortly…
