If I was different would you want me
Could it be you just despise me
The picture perfect girl is pleasing
You tell me as I keep on screaming

If your God was my God then we could be
All of a sudden you’re Mister Holy
As I’m perceived as some unfortunate thing
Too imperfect to be conceived

If that ring fit on me, would you be happy?
All your world would finally know me
Applaud your so called perfect story
Keep your illusions and all it’s glory

If I was free of past sins and stories
Will you whisper how you adore me
To keep me safe and forever hold me
To love me like you won’t destroy me
