Is ACN a Pyramid Scheme?

Do you understand the difference between a pyramid scheme and the direct sales model/multi-level marketing companies? Here’s a new informative video that explains the difference.

While pyramid schemes compensate individuals based on recruiting alone, direct sales and multi-level marketing companies compensate based on the sales of products and services. Legitimate companies focus on building a customer base of people who enjoy the value of their products and services. Direct sales models often focus on building a supportive network or team, but sales are required for success and compensation within these companies.

Unfortunately, pyramid schemes exist. However, there are many legitimate companies based on the direct sales model, like ACN, that offer valuable products and services and quality home-business opportunities for people around the world.

ACN, Inc. has been in business for more than 25 years and prides itself on being the biggest direct seller of energy, telecommunications, and other necessary services for homes and businesses alike. It operates using the direct sales model.

“ACN has long set a standard of integrity for the direct selling industry to follow, yet the bad business practices of a few companies have polluted the industry for us and other legitimate companies. We’re committed to changing that,” Greg Provenzano, President and Co-Founder of ACN said.

ACN has dedicated itself to changing the conversation and educating consumers on the difference between pyramid schemes and legitimate companies with our video, which we’ve shared across all our social media channels. The goal is to wipe out false, misrepresented information and replace it with the facts.

“Unfortunately the Internet is filled with false information, and we can’t rely on the Internet to tell ACN’s story,” said Provenzano. “It’s our job to educate and empower individuals on the facts about ACN, so they can make the best choice for themselves and their families.
