Business Ethics: How to Dress and Act Like a Professional
So many of us hear that to succeed in the business world we need to dress and act the part. What does this truly mean? More often than not a young business professional will not know exactly how to do this. I have researched and found some things that could help fill in the gaps.
It is important to understand exactly what this means because it will teach you how to dress and act in your daily work environment. Work for most people is a huge chunk of their life. Why would we not learn the expectations in such an important part of life. With this knowledge it will help you save money and look more professional than your other coworkers. You need more than just a degree to get a job in today’s environment and this knowledge will help you get a step up on your competition.
My presentation will start with an attention getter to hook in the audience right off the bat. Then I will explain the value of my topic and why they should listen. I will start off with how to dress appropriately on a budget and continue on to other aspects such as how to act confident and accountable and how it will help you be successful. I will then end with a call to action to try and get my audience to really hear what I am saying and to prepare themselves for their work environments and daily job life.
The goal of this presentation is to help fill in the information gap for young people on how to to properly dress and act in their everyday business environment. I hope that my audience finds what I present to be helpful in preparing them for their careers.
