So, two things:
One, don’t go after Jennifer O’Malley Dillon. I worked under her. That campaign made fighting poverty one of the cornerstones of our message. She is a tireless advocate for poor and working people. She is a committed servant to the liberal cause. She has dedicated her life to bettering the country and pushing us in a more progressive direction. Most importantly, she has always acted well within the bounds of ethical behavior. We need more Jenn O’Malley Dillons and less internet show hosts in the movement.
To go after her, when her only strike against her is she has the audacity to actually try to make a living off of her work, is awful. It is hack writing and hack reporting.
Second, quit spreading the lies that the DNC was in league with Hillary. This has caused a wound in the movement that soon won’t be healed. Don’t pass off the bullshit “many members say” as a fact. Get people on the record with specific, concrete examples.
But you can’t do that, because it didn’t happen. We have the internal emails. One guy said he was going to spread a rumor in April. A few complained that Bernie was staying in the race after he was mathematically eliminated. That’s it.
This was an awful, awful hit piece with innuendo replacing facts.
