I’m like a hollow tree,

With a lot of emptiness within me,

Yet I stand before you,

I adore you.

I echo from inside,

Brokenness I try to hide,

Standing tall with my roots planted,

I do my best not to take my one life for granted.

I am hollow like a tree,

But that isn’t who I want to be.
