To be an effective project manager takes a lot of experience and time. You can read up all you want, but at the end of the day it’s a human behaviour problem. It takes time to learn about the spectrum of personalities you’ll end up working with, and any advice you’ll find on how to approach it is often subjective to your personality, too

Very true. Empathy goes a long way, but then again, that’s not that easy to learn from a book.
