Do you know how to learn?

Often people assume that it’s what you learn that is important. Indeed, many traditional education systems are very content driven, teaching facts and figures, methods and theories. Only in the past few decades has thought and research been put into how this content is being taught.

Importantly also research now centres around how individuals themselves learn. Learning is not a one-size-fits-all model, rather students may be more engaged learning visually, interacting physically with their subject matter or from a learning-by-doing model.

Our event tomorrow brings together a panel of experienced educators to talk about what skills are important for a 21st century contemporary society and one of the most basic and fundamental ideas was put forward.

Learn how to learn.
