The Absorbent Mind of a Child: Just like a Sponge

The child’s brain from 0–6 is like a sponge (unlike a filter) and soaks up large amounts of information (which it is exposed to by people and by the environment.)

From 0–3 the child absorbs information unconsciously (the child learns without making a deliberate choice to do so). From 3–6, information is absorbed consciously (the child can choose what they want to learn based on preferences).

Because the most learning and brain development of a human being occurs from 0–6 years but majorly from 0–3 years, early childhood education should be prioritized even more than a university education.
