How to Clear Your Computer of Focus-Draining Distraction

Placing everything that was on your desktop in a folder called “everything” is much like moving your household clutter to an empty room from your living room. It’s a good way to begin the organization process IMO. If need be, you can make subfolders in there, kinda like adding bins or shelves to a room.

It makes perfect sense. If you were going to declutter a house you wouldn’t start by throwing all of your possessions away, so why do the same with files?

So yeah, I really like this idea!
