How To Use This One Principle To Solve Every Problem You Have

Solving any problem begins with the feelings created from the framing of the problem in the first place, which creates the thoughts and anxiety that originally called it a ‘problem’ in the first place.
A ‘problem’, which is another program that creates more thinking that reinforces the problems existence.
Today my mind was racing on where I should live geographically and where I should commit my time based on my family locale, friends and work situation.
The family is outside DC, I’ve worked in SF for 18 months and it’s going great, but I love the city of New York the most. With friends in SF and NYC being equal.
As I sit here in SF on a Sunday morning, I realized this problem is making me feel ‘unsettled’, which often creates stress and anxiety for me.
I stopped and acknowledged that ‘being settled’ is a program first, and just because I may need to fly between cities regularly, or have less predictability around ‘where I live’, that isn’t actually what makes me feel ‘unsettled’ and that I have control over that program, which I can re-program into feeling settled.
Yes, having a fixed housing solution and knowing where ‘you’re living’ is an externally tangible way that creates a feeling of stability in our minds, but ‘uncertainty’ or a state of mind that creates the story that we aren’t settled is in our control.
It’s amazing how we use symbols and how the mind reacts to them.
Symbols represent stories to us, as in, “I have an apartment”, represents a belief that “I am a settled person who has stability” which creates the action, behavior and eventual feelings of ‘stability’ you externalize.
The Present Moment
The present moment is always settled (because it’s the only thing we ever really have at any given time).
I realized first and foremost that I need to decide that I’m settled, and then act like it first.
So, I am Aram Taghavi, and I’m settled and am handling my living situation.
I’ll decide how I’ll share my time, and I’ll never be ‘not settled’ because that leads to believing I’m out of control or chaotic which leads to other thoughts/beliefs manifested from the symbols in my head from flying around in airports and using hotels without permanency of my location.
Once I embody “being settled”, I can decide what I want to do.
Once I do that, I’m in the right state to ‘live with uncertainty while feeling settled’.
Deciding What You Want and Getting It
What do you really want when you get stressed about a problem?
Whether it’s being lonely or yearning for a better job, it’s usually something else you’re after whether it’s security or higher self esteem.
Dig deeper there.
The less time you make searching inward, the less you know what you’re looking for.
Having the capacity to spend time and fearlessly embracing ‘being alone’ (another program) or building self esteem is a skill that requires deep knowing of who you are in this world.
So To Solve A Problem and Get What You Want:
- Recognize the ‘problem’ is a symbol that is a program based on your belief around that symbol. Ie. ‘If I don’t have a steady apartment, I am feeling unsettled’ and therefore I am stressed out. Or ‘I am lonely’ doesn’t mean I need someone, but I am missing a feeling that I want satisfied.
- Define a ‘decision’ as something you’ll only make if you’ll tirelessly, endlessly, sacrifice everything and give up everything you need to to satisfy that decision.
- Believe and you’ll act, act and you’ll believe. If you struggle believing in yourself, act like you have it already all day every day to make yourself believe it. I literally walk around acting like a billionaire CEO all day and have found my mannerisms to match. Not shocking getting meetings with execs has increased.
Very few people are thoughtful enough to go deep inside for answers, the one’s that do come out with powerful surrender that is the high self esteem and confidence we all want.
Most people are chasing to fulfill what the external world expects of them without knowing it.
They think they’re job is what they do when in fact it’s a means to chase the feelings one get’s when one get’s closer to achieving who they want to become.
Nothing can give that to us but we all have the power to find it for ourselves, which is thankfully free and in our control.
If you want something, and have decided to commit that you’re going to get it, and most importantly, believe you will, there are no ifs, ands or buts, you’ll sacrifice anything and everything to get or become that thing.
The universe is very efficient in that way. You get what you’re willing to pay for. So, what do you want? What problems do you have?
Apply these principals to your problems and solve them to get what you want. Hope it helped.
