The One Belief You Must Believe to Create the World You Wish To See

That change is actually simple, and begins with a decision.

A decision to believe that a result is possible — and perhaps more importantly — that we should hold ourselves accountable for all results, past and current.

We believe “change is hard”, “problems are complex” or “the world is a crazy place”.

“Poverty is hard to solve.” These are programs we’ve bought into.

Our beliefs are our programs. Whatever you believe, you create as reality.

What we believe and therefore program ourselves with is exactly what happens. These are facts backed by modern physics.

“The major limitation of consciousness is it’s innocence. Consciousness is gullible; it believes everything it hears. Consciousness is like hardware that will play back any software you put into it. We never lose the innate innocence of our own consciousness; it persists, naïve and trusting, like an impressionable child. It’s only guardian is a discerning awareness that scrutinizes the incoming program.” — M.D, Ph.D. Psychiatrist, Physician and Researcher, Sir David Hawkins

Test this out for yourself: what news do you watch that confirms one of your beliefs?

How do you view the world? A place of abundance full of opportunity that’s made eons and eons of progress (it is and it has), or a hard place that’s chaotic and brutal (it is and it is).

The reality you create is a choice — and that choice will determine how fast we continue evolving or declining as a species and is critical.

We’re at a crossroads.

Dr. Hawkins’ ground breaking consciousness map incorporates findings from quantum physics and nonlinear dynamics, confirming that “attractor fields” are tangible and exist.

Here’s a nice description by Kurt Ebert, Ph.D, on attractor fields:

“Attractor fields are non-physical energy fields generated by each individual’s attitudes, beliefs and on-going thought stream. These energy fields interact not only with your body, but further with the energy fields and bodies of others as well. It is as a result of these energy fields that you view the world the way that you do, and those fields are why you have the attitudes and reactions toward life that you do.”

It’s this level of energy that determines how you effect people. Inspiration and hope? Or helplessness and hopelessness.

The levels begin at the lowest level of shame and steadily increase to guilt, apathy, grief, fear, desire, anger and pride.

Those are generally the lower levels of consciousness and make up of a big part of the world today though the number is declining over time.

At the level of courage, we have the strength and capacity to look at ourselves and recognize that we are at the source of our own suffering and we also have the potential to be at the source of creating our own joy and peace.

Willingness, neutrality, reason, love, joy peace and finally enlightenment are the higher levels of consciousness and make up a smaller piece of the population but steadily increasing.

These programs are perpetuated and reinforced daily when you look for the news source that confirms the beliefs that you believe.

“Life is hard.” Look for it all around you.

“Abundance is everywhere.” Find it all around you.

Have you ever stopped and realized that basically every item you’re ever surrounded by at all times is a business? Makes you look at the things in your house and everything you do differently, no? I know it did for me.

The world is a chaotic and scary place. Easy to find it all around you.

If you’re thinking “but wars exist, and people are killing each other, you’re head’s in the sand.”

The point isn’t about what is or isn’t. The point is in how you view that reality and take ownership and continue making progress toward the reality you wish to have for yourself and the world.

Anything in your control, ownership must be taken for the way you choose to see, think and perceive it.

It’s the difference between discipline and laziness.

Yes, wars have been going on for eons, but besides several conflict areas in the world where forces of economics, resources and yes, shared consciousness of the other side as “enemy or occupier”, wars and human to human killing is way way down.

Great Britain, if not the most powerful country in the world, is all but removing it’s army. They obviously wouldn’t allow this to happen if they didn’t believe it safe and acceptable to do so.

Start With Your Mediums

It’s not what news you receive, it’s how you receive the news you’re looking for.

For example, big news outlets that are driven by profit exist to create “breaking” headlines that compete with other big news outlets that are driven by profit — whereas books are a deep and thoughtful collection of stories, anecdotes and studies — usually over long periods of time.

Which medium do you think will be a higher quality way of learning about the world and forming a world view? Thirty years of an authors life and experiences on a topic, that’s organized, with proper context and planned and thought out into a collection intended to live forever?

Or headlines intended to grab and hold your attention on a second by second basis?

To that you may say, “but I want to stay informed and updated to what’s going on in the world.” Have you ever asked yourself why that is? Why do you need to know what’s going on in Russia and North Korea? Are you in the military and defending us in the event of a nuclear attack?

If not, is spending that time and precious attention on that news item going to optimize you as a person? Will it create the emotion you want to create in yourself? Even if you wanted to be prepared to do your part in the case of a nuclear attack by North Korea, is your time more productive being spent making preparations for your home, family and tribe and actively taking precautions or perhaps talking to insiders to get higher quality data first hand?

Deciding what you take in and how you take it in is a conscious choice, and it has severe implications for all of humanity, not just you.

“Change is Hard” and “It’s Complicated” Are Excuses to Keep us Unaccountable — Hold Yourself and The People In The World (your world) Accountable

Change is hard and it’s complicated is a state of mind first.

Every time you say “change is hard” or “it’s complicated” (and I’ve certainly been guilty of this but have decided no more) or it’s a complex problem, you’re letting yourself and the people in the world off the hook.

We let ourselves off the hook all the time when we make these statements and there are many benefits for people in power to want to keep people in that state so they aren’t held accountable either.

And yes, there are many asshole people in power. I’m not denying this. I’m saying take accountability for what you have control over and use the biology of belief and power of a decision made to your advantage.

Now That We Hold Ourselves Accountable — Acknowledge That Every Situation We’re Now in is a Result

The state of poverty is a result — but can be changed.

The state of the Middle East is a result — but can be changed.

The state of policing is a result — but can be changed.

Get decision makers to stop thinking in such a complex manner and acknowledge we’re all human and want the same things — now give it to the other side.

India and Pakistan, all human who’s people want the same basic things.

Israel and Palestine, all human who’s people want the same basic things.

Decide it can be changed, believe it can be changed and get others to believe that. The physics of believing and the physics of a decision made may be the single most important principal to spread throughout humanity and the time is now.

How Decisions Work In The Brain

According to neuroscientist Paul King: “decision-making appears to be a “winner take all” process in which many different neuron clusters representing alternate action choices compete by inhibiting each other. Evidence supporting each action choice increases the spiking activity of the neurons representing that choice. These neurons inhibit the neurons representing other choices, leading to a multi-way competition among neuron clusters. Eventually the evidence supporting one choice as optimal overtakes all the others and succeeds in suppressing the alternatives, becoming the clear winner. Once the hypothesis or choice begins to overtake others, the activated neuron cluster (called the “cell assembly”) sets into motion the processes of action and motor control that produces a behavior of some sort, such as announcing a decision or acting.”

This is why the “universe conspires to help you when you make a decision”. Better yet, announce that decision to the world and watch your pace accelerate.

The physical impact of belief and decision gives power to a person to inspire people and transcend the world around them.

Believe and decide you have control over what happens in the world and watch the action create the world you wish to see.

If You Want To Change The World — Don’t Look Outward — Go Deep Inside First

I’ve been on a mission to build a company and write — and its been hard.

But that difficulty is what’s made my mission meaningful. I’m glad it ended up being hard, and now I’m fierce.

I burned my boats out of naïveté without realizing it forced me to step up to the plate in a big way. Had it been easy, I don’t think my mission would have been nearly as meaningful and I wouldn’t have learned the principal of embracing pain, hardness and obstacle for growth. Now it’s just a game I enjoy that drives me.

The key word there is mission. Anyone can build a company and write. It’s going about it in a way that’s missionary and deeply meaningful.

What reason have you found that will drive you with fierce vigor each day?

More importantly, with that reason and vigor, what hard, risky and impactful situations have you put yourself into to rise to the occasion?

Does that scare you or bring out your best? We’re all actors and playing roles, you get to choose which role you want to play and create the person (yes, actor) you want to be by the situations you put yourself in.

Want to get fit? As in, actually care to get fit? Most people don’t. If you do, declare you’ll go on FB live without your shirt on or play a role in a video where you show your body. That’s actually what keeps professional actors in great shape. They’re like everyone else and get out of shape during off times.

I now believe I’m transcending the world every time I write something. Do you know how empowering that is and the impact it will have on my work which is intended to create the world I wish to see?

The deeper you go inside yourself, the more you’ll effect people — and the rest is just showing up. You’ll show up in a way that inspires people. It begins with one person, and that person is you.

It wasn’t for good reason the most powerful person ever to have existed in the world, a tiny little man who was able to gain independence for over a billion people from the most powerful occupying force in the world, without the use of violence or force is best known for a quote that will last the test of time:

“Be the change you wish to see in the world”.

That mans name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

What one man can do, another can do. And you too can create the world you wish to see if you decide it’s possible and become the person you need to become to change it.
