We are Rosie Riveters

“Girls are three times less likely than boys to aspire to be scientists or engineers. Playtime can open her mind to possibilities that break down gender stereotypes.”

What is Rosie Riveters?

Rosie Riveters provides a fun space for girls ages 4-14 to imagine, create and play while developing their skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Our goal is to equip and empower girls to be strong, confident and competent in the fields of STEM, through hands on projects and mentorship programs.

“Doing it for them tells girls they can’t do it on their own. Introduce technology early and one day more than 7% of tech startup executives will be women.

Let’s teach girls to delete the words “I can’t” from their vocabulary and inspire them to always be confident enough to try.

By sharing relevant, stimulating content, hands-on experiments and introducing role models from the various fields, Rosie Riveters strives to encourage girls to engage with STEM and see the possibilities for their future careers.

Over the coming weeks and months, we will be launching our website, as well as a series of classes in the Washington, DC area. We invite you to join us on our journey as we seek to empower girls in STEM!
