Beautifully written!!!
I have often intimated in my views to be careful because, there are those out there equating patriotism with party loyalty.
It has come to this, and many blinded by emotion have become loyal to a man who, if elected would have slightest idea of how to conduct himself with Presidential diplomacy as required to maintain global relationships preventing the disenfranchisement of those relationships aligned with the U.S.
As for his comments regarding your Grandfather; Trump, and I have no idea what kind of sacrifice that is for the families involved, and our country. Your Grandfather is a hero, and I salute him.
As for his credentials as a businessman, he was the one who was ultimately responsible for ‘Trump University.’ He also went through, if I recall correctly, 2 bankruptcies, and why not throw in a sprinkling of bad hotel management.
I will say Trump inherited a great deal of wealth, and invested it. With all of that he had to ‘move money around’ which explains the bankruptcies in his mind.
I have a challenge for him. He should bequeath me $1,000,000. I will turn it in to $4,000,000 or more in 180 days. The point being, inherit that kind of money, and most anyone with a bit of common sense can make it a good deal more money.
Perhaps one of Trump’s descendants can be referred to as a good business person but, not Donald.
I am still hopeful that all of humanity can make a leap forward for peace. My fondest wish for the world society is that we come to a point when armed troops are no longer necessary.
The sacrifice for families, and country will no longer be necessary. I look forward to the day when our most esteemed heroes are Parents, Teachers, Spiritual Leaders, and Scientists.
For the record, I have no allegiance to a political party, and those angry on the right, and left should meet in the middle. They could possibly channel the anger in a more reasonable manner, and actually accomplish something.
