Hello Dr. Ahmed. I have referred to the concept of redefining prosperity and economic growth as “human sustainability”.

I’m certain you have the capacity to use math to establish some new economic indicators that could be implemented to realign expectations regarding economic and social well-being.

It is my belief that the income inequality and social injustice that is so prevalent throughout the world costs us all immeasurably. Vibrant, growing, living societies have so much potential.

I first started to think about this when a fellow science fiction writer mentioned he thought it would take 25% of global economic production to launch a genuine interstellar space exploration program.

If global economic production were defined in a sustainable way, such an endeavor would seem much more achievable.
