Julia, I understand what you are saying. Even then, and I was on the “opposite political side” then, I did not blame Monica, because of the huge age difference and the power difference between the two of them. I *might* have run away and left the job if I had been in her shoes. But more likely, I would have complied with his wishes. That’s the honest truth if I am honest with myself.
