We are seeking an Optical Laser Test Technician for a very important client.

- Need an experienced operator who can construct, adapt and modify systems and sub-systems of electro-optical, diode pumped Lasers and troubleshoot and correct malfunctions

- They will perform various tests or experiments of moderate complexity requiring minor modifications in test set-ups or procedures

- They will run acceptance tests using associated test equipment to customer specifications and perform routine analysis of data to check and verify applicability and accuracy

- They will perform alignment of optical hardware to meet customer specifications

- They must be able to ensure accuracy of paperwork to government / military standards

- Must have a working knowledge of optical test equipment and beam alignment

- Will construct and troubleshoot optical, diode pumped Lasers and multiple-axis electro-optical gimbal heads

- Will run tests using auto-collimators, imaging cameras, spectrometers, energy meters, beam analyzers and oscilloscopes

- Will perform routine analysis of data

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

- Experience in the assembly, alignment and testing of high energy Q-switched laser systems is desired

- Experience with resonator alignment or military lasers is preferred

- Should understand a complex system with a laser path containing optics, mirrors, and beam splitters

- Must have a working knowledge of optical test equipment and beam alignment

- Prefer 4 or more years of experience in the assembly, alignment and testing of high energy laser systems is desired
