And I guess you are right. Albeit we call that torture in many different ways, like “urgent need”, “one and only passion”, “what I do and what I am”, and so on.

(Un)happily you just wrote a quite good piece, so I don’t know how you feel about it right now and you don’t need fiction to go through a daily writing routine. You can keep fiction to have fun during NaNoWriMo, for instance. But if this is your average writing level, I say keep it up, I’m looking forward to reading your future words.
