Proud of our Romanian heritage — thank you for including Eliade after Vivekananda.

I am Romanian, and read Eliade’s History of Religions, studied his novel, Maitreyi, and his Journal in school. He was passionate about India, loved an Indian lady from a prominent family and ended up teaching in Chicago. Never married the love of his life. In turn, she also wrote a book about their relationship.

Sorry to digress so much in my comment, but I am truly impressed that such a knowledgeable person as yourself would choose to mention Eliade’s role in promoting yoga. It is quite unique. Greetings from Bucharest, Romania
