Good news Friday!!

Hello world!!

Wow, what a full few months it’s been.

Our team is expanding and we are grateful to have volunteers working from all over the world — Pakistan, Australia, US, Iraq and Costa Rica ❤

Our success and growth of the Peace Crane Project is thanks to their hard work and we cannot express how excited we are for how this year is developing thanks to our amazing team. We even have a Spanish Facebook page to make the project más accesible para aquellos que hablan español ;)

Also, Sue and I are gearing up for Peace Day in the US.

As of today, there is only 60 days left until September 21st!! So crazy and we love the energy of this time of year.

So, we have some very exciting news….

We are heading to the United Nations annual Peace Day Event in New York to speak about the PCP and our global impact!!

We are sooo excited to share with the world how the Peace Crane Project is making a positive impact on the lives of children and adults around the world. Since 2013, we are proud to say that more than 2.5 million participants have joined us in 154 countries and our participant numbers grow every year.

To have the opportunity to speak at the UN Event is truly something we are so grateful for and are so excited about.

But — we need your help to get there!!

As a small not-for-profit organisation, we rely heavily on the generous contributions of donors and sponsors to support our work. So we are asking you to help us get there!

Visit our new campaign page: https://www.crowdrise.com/get-us-to-the-un/ to donate to our trip — we can’t do it without you!!

The event will be live streamed and we will be sharing all of our project work as we go. Make sure you are following us on social media to keep up to date with all of our exciting news: Facebook, Instagram & Twitter are where it’s at!

Our goal is to reach $10,000USD by September 1st. This will fund our transport, project activities, accommodation and awareness raising while we are there. We are also taking the project to Peace Day Events in Chicago and Philadelphia too — spreading the message of peace and connecting as many kids as possible to one another this September.

We want to extend our warmest thanks for your support and valuable contributions to the Peace Crane Project
