It’s Not About Race!
John Metta

This is so important and a very poignant read, something I have been thinking about for a while. I think it falls back on some horrible yet true psychology that subconsciously affects us all: in-groups and out-groups.

We align closely to things like us and shun things that are unfamiliar to us. When higher beings that form their own in-group and deem us to be the out-group, only then will we rise above crap like sexism, racism, gay bashing and all the other rubbish people surround themselves with to keep themselves “safe”. Because then we’ll belong to the in-group of the human race VS the out-group of alien invaders and that may be strong enough to break it.

Thank you for writing this.
