Anthony Weiner, and only Anthony Weiner, is responsible for Anthony Weiner’s repulsive behavior
Quit trying to blame Hillary or Huma for Weiner being a sex-obsessed freak
Disgraced former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) has been implicated in yet another sexting scandal. According to multiple media reports, Weiner sent a raunchy photo of himself to an unnamed woman, and Weiner’s four-year-old son was in the background of the photo. This is the third Weiner sexting scandal: In 2011, Weiner was forced to resign from Congress after having sent a sexually-explicit photo of himself, via a public Twitter account, to a female Twitter follower, and, during the 2013 New York City mayoral race, Weiner was found to have used the pseudonym Carlos Danger to send sexually-explicit photos to a then-22-year-old woman who had disapproved of Weiner’s previous extramarital affair.
As a result of the most recent Weiner sexting scandal, Huma Abedin, the vice-chairwoman of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid, has announced that she has separated from Weiner. Abedin and Weiner have been married for a little over six years.
Anthony Weiner’s behavior is the sole responsibility of one person: Anthony Weiner. I’m not about to blame Hillary or Huma for Weiner being a sex-obsessed freak who can’t stop sending explicit photos of himself to other women.
Even though Hillary isn’t responsible for Weiner’s behavior, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump wasted no time trying to tie the latest Weiner sexting scandal to Hillary:
The Republican nominee, of course, responded in the least politically advantageous way possible.
At 12:36 pm, Trump’s campaign sent a press release to reporters titled, “Donald J. Trump Statement on Hillary Clinton’s Bad Judgment.” Abedin, Trump said, “is making a very wise decision. I know Anthony Weiner well, and she will be far better off without him.”
He added, “I only worry for the country in that Hillary Clinton was careless and negligent in allowing Weiner to have such close proximity to highly classified information. Who knows what he learned and who he told? It’s just another example of Hillary Clinton’s bad judgment. It is possible that our country and its security have been greatly compromised by this.”
Anyone who thinks that Anthony Weiner exercising bad judgement is Hillary Clinton exercising bad judgement is sexist. Hillary is not, in any way, shape, or form, responsible for what Weiner does online when he’s interacting with women who he is not married to. Weiner’s behavior is the sole responsibility of Weiner. Also, I’m not going to play marriage referee with any couple.
Oh, and if you even think for one second that Weiner was using Hillary’s old private email server to send lewd photos of himself to others, delete your internet access. There is zero proof of that ever happening.
