Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem, stay focused
How to overcome procrastination and Time management
Time management is the process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, mainly to increase efficiency or productivity. Good time management allows you to work smarter not harder so that you get more done in less time, even when the time is crushing and pressures are high. Failing to arrange your time, it damages your effectiveness and makes stress. Time has very important in your life because if it passed away it will never come again. Procrastination is our big hindrance towards success and it inhibits us from working with full potential and it became our habit to start work right before the deadline.
Time does not wait for you and when it passed it never comes back and then only regret becomes your destiny. So be wise and use your time in a proper way to be victorious in your life. You have a habit of procrastination, so you planned to use this technique in order to help in starting work on time.
In this technique, I determined how to manage your time, how to fight against procrastination, and avoid the distractions and complete concentration on your tasks
The Pomodoro Technique is a method, how to manage the time. This technique is developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down your work into intervals, Like 25 minutes in work length,5 mint separated by short breaks. These intervals are named Pomodoro.
I always distracted by other things when I am doing me any task. I didn’t think how much this task is important and how much time is left for the deadline of this task. I couldn’t pay my much attention more than 1 to 2 hours. I am distracted by many things like the cell phone, facebook, whatsapp, songs, play online games and twitter and creating some fun with the colleague or doing some funny activity then I completely lost my consistency and attention and not complete my work on time. I am late to submit my work.
when I applied the Pomodoro technique first time and follow all rules of this method, it is very difficult according to my nature but I took all of these methods as the new challenge in my daily routine work, first I am not felt comfortable after some day it show the results then my mind changed and accept the these things. When distraction I quickly came back to my work without being practically involved in these distractions. After some days I remain successful in many aspects.
1. Decided the task to be done: I decided to do my project work about In-person drop while using this technique
2. Set the Pomodoro timer: I set an alarm for 25 minutes on my mobile that is suggested the time for this technique
3. Remove distractions: I removed all the distraction from my surroundings and turned off my wifi so that I can work on my project effectively without any hindrance
4. Start working on the task: I immediately started working on the project with full concentration until the alarm bell rang
5. Take a break and set another Pomodoro: I took the break of 4 minutes then I set another Pomodoro and started working in the same way. I again repeated these steps for the 3rd time as well.
That “long break” is usually on the order of 15–30 minutes, whatever it takes to make you feel recharged and ready to start another 25-minute work session. Repeat that process a few times over the course of a workday, and you actually get a lot accomplished and took plenty of breaks to grab a cup of coffee, tea or refill your water bottle in the process.
It’s important to note that a Pomodoro is an indivisible unit of work — that means if you’re distracted part-way by a coworker, meeting, or emergency, you either have to end the Pomodoro there (saving your work and starting a new one later), or you have to postpone the distraction until the Pomodoro is complete.
To inform and negotiate strategy with other co-workers and people:
1. Inform the other (distracting) party that you’re working on something right now.
2. Negotiate a time when you can get back to them about the distracting issue in a timely manner.
3. Schedule that follow-up immediately.
4. Call back the other party when your Pomodoro is complete and you’re ready to tackle their issue.

How The Pomodoro will change you
The Pomodoro Technique isn’t just about helping you get things done today, it’s about learning how you work so you can save time in the future. The Pomodoro Technique tells you
1. Find out how much effort an activity requires
2. Cut down on interruptions
3. Estimate the effort for activities
4. Make the Pomodoro more effective
5. Set up a timetable
6. Define your own objectives
I am surprised to see the results of this technique, It was an outstanding experience and this technique proved very easy for me to act upon. This technique helped me a lot to work on my task with more concentration and I completed my task effectively on time. If I didn’t use this technique I would take to much time to complete the tasks. By now I decided to use this technique regularly as it works for me. I will try to increase the time duration for Pomodoro for myself when I will get full command on using this technique with 50 minutes timer. After these productive results, I decided to mate this technique part of my habit.
Perhaps your goal is less about monetary gain and more about the quality of life, time spent with family and friends, or the ability to travel without time restraints. Whatever your life’s goals, consistently applying time management strategies will ensure that you make maximum progress towards them, instead of getting distracted and working towards the wrong goals, or worse yet, towards nothing at all.
