“Less is more.”
William Zinsser, On Writing Well: The Classic Guide To Writing Nonfiction

We fill the internet with garbage. We spew our keystrokes onto the screen and publish our collection of word salad. For years I pondered the unanswerable, without the words to articulate the actual pondering. Yet, some people believed in my philosophical ramblings. As time went, I grew to believe in them as well. Stop here. Stop now. Less is more.

“Clear thinking becomes clear writing; one can’t exist without the other.”
William Zinsser, On Writing Well: The Classic Guide to Writing Nonfiction

Simplicity. Brevity. Clarity. Noble Silence. Right Action.

Keep on the path. Keep writing. Keep upgrading your thoughts.

Note to self.

Expectations. We need to be extremely careful what we allow into our ears and into our brains. Unfortunately we don’t always have control over that. The study that was done by David Robson is fascinating.

Hearing Andrew Huberman talk about the placebo effect plus expectation effect plus physiological effect really got me thinking of how to implement this into my life. Also, how to guard against marketing and our expectations put on us from society.

As synchronicity would have me, or maybe my algorithm, Lex Friedman and Liv Boeree popped up on my YouTube. This allowed me to hear Liv Boeree talk about poker, game theory, and a grab bag of other topics. Expectations of winning and how Phil Hellmuth has found a cheat code in the Word Series of Poker with amateurs.
