You’ve started to take some action towards actually making some amount of money online. Now, starts the hard part — actually doing it.
I’m going to go over 6 different ways for you to generate $100/day online. Keep in mind that there are a lot freaking more. So many more that I would be here for years outlining them all, but these 6 are some of the most common and best for beginners. I will also provide links that will allow you to go more in-depth with each should you decide that the method is for you.

Selling A Course on Udemy or SkillShare
Udemy and SkillShare are sites that allow you to create and sell an online course or preferably courses. The more courses you have, the more chances you have at making money. The key thing that you need to make a successful Udemy/Skillshare course is the knowledge on how to do something. This could be anything from how to start a successful Twitter account to how to work on a 2007 Toyota Corolla. Whatever skills you have, you can make a course about them and sell it on Udemy or Skillshare.
The great thing about this is you’re truly helping people. You are teaching them something that they want to learn, and they are getting value from your knowledge. It really is a win-win, and a great way to make money online. Udemy does take 30% of the revenue your courses make, but they have a very intuitive platform, and I personally think this fee is well worth it.

Selling Stock Images, Music, Videos, or Graphics
Stock content, such as music, videos, images, or graphics, is content that can be used by a business in their own advertisements, blog posts, etc. They pay you for this content in order to get the rights to use it. The great thing about stock content is there are a TON of different sites that can let you distribute your content across there network. The down side of this is that these sites are not usually the best percentage wise. I’ve known some to take up 85% of the revenue.
A way to work around these sites is to host all of the images/content on your own site. This can be accomplished through Shopify or even Wordpress if you setup the right plugins. The difficult part about using this method is getting people to the site, and then, getting them to purchase from it. You will need to market your stock content like it is any other digital product, and most likely need to run ads and do content marketing for it in order to get sales.

Affiliate Marketing
Everyone mentions it, and it’s because it works. I’ve personally made thousands upon thousands from it, and you can too. You’ve just got to find a product to promote, and then get it in front of an audience that wants it. This can even be done through sites like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, or even Quora. You don’t even need your own site to do affiliate marketing well. Does having your own site help with affiliate marketing? Of course it does, but it is far from required.
I would like to mention some tips for affiliate marketing. Mainly, be sure to pick a product that has some kind of monthly recurring revenue, and make sure that you are paid monthly commissions. This is the best way to make passive affiliate income, and keep it coming in month after month at a stable pace. If you decide to go to with the a one time affiliate product, be sure that it pays AT LEAST $20/commission. The more the better.

Freelance Work
Freelancing is one of the quickest ways to start earning money online. Just find some skills that you can offer such as graphic design, web design, video editing, writing, photography, or pretty much anything that can be done digitally, and do it. You can find clients through sites like Upwork, and compound clients as time goes one. Getting one client will help you get two, two will help you get three, etc.
The great thing about freelancing is that you can get a lot of high paying gigs in order to support you, and supplement that income with smaller gigs. Basically, you’ve got 3 gigs that each pay $1k/month. These gigs are how you keep a roof over your head and food on the table. In addition to these gigs, however, you can also do 10 small gigs for around $100/gig. These smaller jobs can provide extra side income and spending money. Using methods like these allow freelancers to keep their income steady.

Doing Online Consulting
Consulting businesses or people on something that they need help with is a great way to earn a lot per hour. It’s not passive by any means, but it can allow you to work a few days a week, and average out $100/day. Most consulting is done with businesses for things such as SEO, adverting, social media, or traffic conversion among thousands of things. There are also personal “success coaches” that are person-to-person consulting. However the success coaching industry is notoriously hard to get into. Other personal consulting can include finances, dietary, or personal training. Just keep in mind that pretty much anything can be consulted. You’ve just got to find someone who needs it.
As far as getting clients as a consultant, the easiest way is to contact businesses and people directly. Truthfully, you will be shut down A LOT! Most businesses and people will say they don’t need your service if you even get a reply, but the goal is to just find one client. Once you’ve got one, you can ask them to recommend you to others. Things will just grow from there.

Start an Ebay/Amazon Business
Buy low, and sell high. That’s the ends and outs of Ebay and Amazon resell businesses. This does take a decent amount of capital, around $1,000, and time, a few hours/day shipping products, to start up, but once you get it going, it can bring in a lot of money. One of the good things about this is you really don’t have to market you products. Amazon and Ebay handle that for you.
Now, the hard part about this business is finding products to sell. This used to be a lot harder than it is now because we, luckily, have the internet. Because of sites like Alibaba, Wholesale Central, DHGate, and more, you can now find low priced products that can be imported and resold for a good 60%-30% margin.

In Closing
And there you have it — six different ways to make money online. There are literally thousands of more, so I encourage you to look around and see what you think will work best for you. The truth is that if you want to start an online business, you will probably fail A LOT. That’s okay though because every time you fail, you learn. Just keep learning and keep growing, and soon enough $1,000/day will be the goal not $100/day.
