Marvel’s Daredevil: Season Two, introduces Frank Castle to the world, known as the Punisher! We get to learn about his origin, and how this hero was forged. So, before you get comfortable and start watching the first season of the Punisher, make sure to first watch Season One and Season Two of Marvel’s Daredevil!

Netflix’s Marvel DareDevil: Season Two

Marvel’s the Punisher: Season One was absolutely brilliant! It’s like marvel’s version of Jon Wick, or the other way around. Assuming you have witnessed Franks’ origin during season two of Daredevil, the Punisher’s season one kicks in after he finally gets revenge over the death of his family. Months after, Frank goes by a different name, trying to move on with his life, and at least that’s what he believes he is doing, but in reality, he isn’t. It seems like part of him believes that he does not deserve to be alive just by the way he lives his life. He goes to work just so he can pay the bills, but he does not socialize nor tries to get help to help him move on. He also does not take on the mantle of the Punisher. Eventually trouble found him, as much as he wishes and tries to avoid it, but his inner hero kicks the door and kills the bad guys. Literally.

As the story unfolds, and you get to learn more about the man behind the shroud of a hero, you get to truly learn about his past. The story shares more about Frank’s family, friends, and the life he lived as a Marine. As the story progresses, you start to learn that the death of his family had to do a lot more with more people than Frank realized, and that his family wasn’t the only one that was being punished. The action and the drama is all the way around spectacular, especially the action which is to be expected knowing who the character is.

The cast was absolutely great, starting with our leading hero, Jon Bernthal, as we know him from his early days in “The Walking Dead” and “Fury” and now as “Marvel’s the Punisher”. Jon has done a great job bringing Frank into the screen in such a powerful way, way better than the previous Punishers. He truly makes you feel what the character is going through, between his family to killing the bad guys. As for the rest of the cast, they were also great. I have a feeling that Deborah Ann Woll’s character, Karen Page, will be the person that will bring “The Punisher” into “The Defenders”.

Overall, great season with the perfect story, which gives us a hero that isn’t all around perfect, but with the right core to be a different type of hero. Hopefully Frank will be shipped out with the rest of the cast of “The Defenders” this summer to give “The Avengers” and “The Guardians of the Galaxy’ a hand against a foe named Thanos, maybe, who knows! Season two cannot come any sooner as for the rest of Netflix’s Marvel Heroes of Hire!

I rate this season: Fucking Epic!
