Commencing the Voyage Home Phase
The completion of the Discovery phase during the adToken Lunarscape.
The Discovery phase of the adToken Lunarscape has been completed. With over 250 interactions from beta participants, we have been able to gather an outstanding amount of feedback! We thank everybody who participated and interacted with us on our Rocket.Chat. With this information, we will be commencing the Voyage Home phase and implementing updates to the adChain Registry throughout the Refueling Stage (February 2018 — April 2018). These updates include:
- Implementing a new UI
- Developing the Governance Module for parameterization
- Upgrading the user dashboard
- Offering custom notifications
- Having a third-party audit our smart contract code
- Adding features based on community feedback
In order to receive continued feedback, the adChain Registry will remain on the Rinkeby Testnet throughout the Refueling Stage and the community will be able to interact with the adChain Registry as they did in the Discovery phase. The adChain Registry will not launch on the Ethereum mainnet until April 2018.
A great example of feedback from the community, shown below, includes a community member asking us to develop a widget that instantly tells the user if the domain they are using is in the adChain Registry. We took this idea and developed a Chrome extension that can be downloaded! We love your ideas, keep sharing your thoughts.
Prior to our on-schedule, April 2018 Ethereum Main Network launch of the adChain Registry, otherwise known as the Ethereum Colonization phase, we will be showcasing each section of the adChain Registry in a spotlight format. We will guide the reader through the description, purpose, and overall value of each section. Stay tuned for the first sneak-peek of the mainnet implementation of the adChain Registry where we walk the reader through the new domain-view UI.
