Everything You Need to Know About The Online Master’s in Cybersecurity at UC Berkeley (MICS)
Just like you, I was searching for the best master’s program that I should go with, taking notes, making phone calls, and reaching out to people on LinkedIn. That was not enough, and because I knew someone would be in the same shoes as I’m, I decided to write an article that I wished was available when I began my search for a master’s program in the field of Cybersecurity or computer science in general, more on the later further in the read.
Before diving deep, here are some basic facts about the Online Cybersecurity Masters Program at UC Berkeley, which I will refer to as MICS going forward, and UCB is what I will refer to UC Berkeley. So here we go!
A) The program is the best in the country (USA), ranked number 1 by U.S. News and FORTUNE education ranking.
B) Acceptance rate for the program is 36% as of 2022–23.
C) Average GPA to be accepted is 3.5 on a scale of 4.0.
D) COST is roughly $73,224 (I will discuss this further in the read comprehensively).
E) Credits or units are 27 in total to graduate.
