Could it be it is the OS, let me explain. iOS hides integration with other apps currently behind the share mini-app integration launchers. Sometimes these may need to be turned on. This is somewhat not obvious and intuitive across all forms of integration. I often use iOS Dropbox to get a larger than 50MB mobi into the Kindle app. I’d argue most Kindle users would not be able to do the same or know you could do that. On Android this is not so different from your PC. You might just grab the file from downloads or from the Dropbox app using the Android form of integration. This is just one example suggesting that Dropbox on iOS is not as useful unless you understand the integration, if you don’t you might see it as a pointless app.
