(Anti) Socially Camouflaged

A fresh picture clears the memory of all that is blur. But it takes a lot to produce one.

For the patriarchal society we are dwelling in, and the world around, there have been always these fixed, toughly-rooted norms. ’MEN’, ‘the head’, the one no decision turns green without. Individuals, families & society has evolved in a pre-defined way. No it isn’t about high middle-class values and morals but the other, the men way of living in it, with it.

A decade old in millennium 2k, and still most of us have not moved forward in actual as much as we claim to. Take this for a quick instance, the man going out for work, the wife cooking, the mother caressing his son for his hard work, the father discussing the property, the immense joy of a child when he jumps on the sight of his father coming back from work and all of it. Did it ever give you a thought how beautifully the ‘Men Medicine’ has camouflaged in our lives.

Certainly not, let us take a look of how it goes when we flip the coins. Matriarchal would be strong a word but best describes our course of fancy fantasy. Imagine men alarming off at 6am, doing the water, finishing the raw vegetables, collecting the milk, making the kid ready, doing the breakfast, dealing with the maid, there is so much more of it, getting your clothes done on the table, preparing your stilettos, checking up your clutch essentials. Counting on the cooker whistles simultaneously handling you your towel along with running everywhere in the house at that last hour.

Seems funny?! Funny to be realistic? Less literally possible? Or a parallel world rundown where his ONLY superiority is the way he is physically created?

Most of us, still think that a female body is capable of everything ‘everything’, no discrimination makes meaning, all equal, man, woman both, until now when we are spanked by the truth and how. No matter how parallel both the world walks, its always the tender one who is expected to live a changed name, in a changed house, a changed life, and so on.

No one puts any question to this definition of thoughts, actions and legacy. Putting a question is funnier. While women continue to make their stand strong in society, speaking monetarily, men are no behind in the dominance.

Representing the challenged specifies, I wait for the time when a mother-in-law would discuss the property with her daughter (&-in-law), When a woman has to no longer live with a changed name, in a changed house, a changed life.
