You’ve got a very rosy view of the EU there — and possibly something of a short memory as far as Corbyn is concerned.

What is it about the untrammel free-movement of capital that you find so appealing? It’s why little if any of the gains from the EU ever make their way to the hands of the workers. It’s right there at the heart of the EU — and it’s why all the talk of free movement of goods, services and labour is a side show.

Leaving the EU will allow Corbyn to do something significant — from PQE to wealth taxes, from renationalisations to sustainable energy and food provision.

I’m glad that the EU was working out so well for you, but to state that leaving will bring famine is just a little bit silly.
