Business Development Executive

This role involves a mix of research, consultative sales, marketing and project management. We will provide relevant training and opportunities to improve your skills in a cool working environment. You will liaise with companies’ leaders and decision makers in various industries on a daily basis.

Advenia is a business development consulting company based in London. We help SMEs launching their products and services in the UK. As the business is expanding, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Development Assistant.

Your duties / responsibilities:

Consultancy and Sales representation activity. For Advenia’s customers, we will expect you to:

- Carry out market research on various sectors, provide analysis and synthesis
- Create and update a prospects database
- Generate leads (Phoning, emailing, meetings, …)
- Organise meetings and support during the meetings
- Follow up with potential clients, partners and distributors if needed
- Write reports in English and French including advices to our clients on their sales and marketing strategy in the UK

Business Development activities for Advenia:

- Create and manage communication and marketing tools
- Writing propositions/bids
- Identify new opportunities and potential clients
- Generate leads
- Promote Advenia at events and trade shows
- Liaise with partners and clients
- Update CRM

Day to Day running of the company:

- Work closely with the director to assist on every aspect of the business

Your profile:

- Studies and experience in marketing/sales 
- Fluent in English & French, any other language is valuable
- Computer and internet literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Linked In, Twitter)
- Ability to work on several projects at the same time
- Good negotiation skills and result driven
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude, plenty of initiative, attention to detail, autonomous
- Knowledge of the British retail market is a plus
- Interest for the interior design & construction markets
- A good sense of humour !

Job type: full time, permanent

Salary: £25,000 — £30,000 per year
