Hey Doc,

First of all I don’t really offer a service. I’m pitching a vision. A non-profit open-source open-access vision too.

“People only have time for infographics and summaries.”

This is a very generalised statement which is superficially true, but completely incorrect in the details. Plenty of people read long-form content. Plenty of people research topics of interest.

Infographics and summaries fill a particular role, and in-depth content fills a different role. As you acknowledge yourself, people do deep dive when they are interested.

The Socratic Web isn’t designed to do what your service does. It does a different thing. It is there to scaffold investigation when people want to do a deep dive.

Don’t go and find a hammer and complain that it isn’t a very good screwdriver.
