The future gender equality

Recruiters are a key to gender solution.

“The most important factor in determining whether you will succeed isn’t your gender but its you”.

Stated by Reliance India Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) Mukesh Ambani, “Women are a key to embrace the challenge and thrive as entrepreneurs”.

Recruiters know the art of hiring but they arguably more influenced to business tactics relating to Gender Equality. But there comes a need when the recruiter needs to prioritise the diversity as a business objective.

Monitoring diversity means recruiters can address discrepancies. For example, sometimes an equal and even more qualified women are not equally hired, though women tenure being high in banks and fewer in digital world.

A strong example is in front given by Indra Nooyi (Pepsico C.E.O),”There is nothing like a concrete life plan to weigh you down. Have the best in you and prepare to execute the best in you”.

IT systems nowadays being more concerned to candidate recruitment lifecycle are being critical on good intelligence. Staffs are expected to work on inclusion guidelines to uphold stand but businesses need support system in place and investment in ongoing value of diversity of the business.

Recently, TCS and Infosys are developing its members in strength based leadership. Next step leads them to use these skills in recruitment processes. Communication transparency especially in equal pay and flexible working are critical.

Consequently there has been an increase of near about 25 percent of senior women in the family so far. Justified by Kofi Annan, “There is no tool for development more effective than Empowerment of Women”. Vision is with you, just give it a go.

Companies like Hindustan Unilever, Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd. to name some have organised a Gender Development Programme .This program aims at internal Staff, candidates and the clients. This programme helps bind men and women for their leadership skills on the strengths finder model.

Thus, if we really want to change something, we have to go hand in hand with the females and recruiters working in equality and investing in partnership with clients, issues can be explored in depth with better solutions. True gender equality can be realistic and recruiters are the key to the solution.
