It's the last day of international women's month. In the spirit of that I will share women-focused communities I discovered recently.

Some of these communities are tech related for females interested in technical and non-technical roles. Here are the communities I compiled. I hope you find them helpful.

1) Sisterly HQ

A platform and community that empowers Nigerian women with the tools to tell their stories through digital technology. The community was founded by Titilope Adedokun in 2021. Click here to learn more about SisterlyHQ and follow them on all their social media platforms.

2) For Creative Girls

This is a semi-educational platform that provides all the resources and channels the Female Creative (Content, Mentorship, Classes, Inspiration) needs to grow and be successful. It was founded in 2016 by Gbemi Adekanmbi.

3) Thestackjournal

An online media community dedicated to documenting stories of women in technology. It was founded in 2021 by Document Women.

4) Empower her community

This is a female non-profit organisation that supports the growth of women in technology. It was founded in 2021 by Elizabeth Okaome. If you want to be a part of this big family, simply click here.

5) Women in Data Africa

This is a non-profit community dedicated to assisting women in developing data-driven skills for a data-driven career, regardless of their background or skill level.

In 2022, Moyinoluwa Anoma established this community. If you want to be a part of this community, click here.

6) Workherholic

If you’re a fan of CareerBuddy, of which Workherholic is the feminine side, you’ve probably interacted with one of their posts. Visit Workherholic’s Instagram page whenever you want to laugh out all your work stress for the day; they share relatable content.

It is a female community that connects you with other African women in order to grow and access career opportunities that are in line with our needs as women. Sign up to join this community.

7) She Code Africa

This is a non-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating and empowering young girls and women in Africa through technology
Ada Oyom founded She Code Africa in 2016. Click here to join this community, and don’t forget to follow them on social media.

8) Web3ladies

This is a vibrant community of women who are disrupting the Web 3 ecosystem.
The founder of web3ladies is Oluchi Enebeli, the first female blockchain engineer.

9) Wetech

A non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering, connecting, and guiding women in various fields of technology. Gabriella Uwadiegwu and Flora Uwadiegwu founded the community, which was launched in 2018. Click here to join this thriving community.

10) Nsonye

This is a non-profit organisation that is bridging the technology gender gap for women and girls across Africa through tech education.

11) Ladywithballs

An online community of women who are inspired, impacted, and empowered to achieve their goals by utilising vital resources, events, and an effective support system.

Orifunke Lawal established this community in August 2018. You should follow all of their social media handles to be notified when an application to join the community is open.

12) Young Saved and Beautiful

This is a community for ladies who are intentional about their relationship with God while remaining beautiful on the inside and out.
