Brief of the Role:

We are looking for a Partnership Manager to join our fast growing team. Your role will be to help ensure our farmer customers and Partner Retailers have an excellent experience when using the AgVend Marketplace, Storefront, or Portal.

  • Ag-Smart — you grew up working on the farm or for an ag retailer and have a strong understanding of the crop input purchasing process.

What we expect of you:

  • You do what you say you will do.
  • Manage Partnerships — we place a high value on our Partner Retailers, ensuring their success when using the AgVend Platform will be core to your job. You will be asked to develop lasting relationships, from onboarding to ongoing engagement with our tools.
  • Support Customers — customer support isn’t an afterthought at AgVend, which is why you will join all of us in helping farmers looking to make a purchase on the site. This entails answering questions via chat, text, email, or phone and expanding our public FAQs.
  • Ready for Anything — at our fast growing company you will wear multiple hats and need to be able to adapt to changing priorities. For this you will need to enjoy a degree of ambiguity and be comfortable with your role evolving beyond this description.
  • Advocate for AgVend — similar to support, we are all on the AgVend Marketing Team. You will be asked to share our message and mission throughout the ag community. This includes creating social media posts, writing for the blog, and attending conferences.

Some details:

  • Locationthere is no such thing as office hours at AgVend, we just care about how effective you are at your job. With that said, we are growing the team in Minneapolis so we are primarily looking for candidates in or near the Twin Cities.
  • Travel — we strongly believe that there is no replacement for a firm handshake and good eye contact so you will be expected to meet with our partners on a regular basis. We will compensate all travel expenses but, at least to start, you will not be provided with a company truck.
