I don’t know what i’m saying to be honest, but it makes sense to me.

If you hadn't informed me of your age, i would have thought you are just a very intellectual 23 year old. That’s not to say that your writing lacked a sense of experience, or mature etiquette, i’m just saying, it was as if you didn't give a poo. I like the word poo, it’s a funny word. It takes the sting out of the harshness; something i think the sheep need to employ in there attempt to become the wolf. There is definitely something called a harsh reality, but you wouldn't tell a baby that this life is all about manipulating your way to success, lying, acting and fooling others into believing you’re something you’re not. Kind of like what every single personal statement in the world employs.( i’m not the best at relaying my point, so just try to digest this waffle.) What i am trying to say is, there is a medium between being brutally honest and keeping someone in ignorance: the one thing that is definitely on the opposite side of the spectrum to blissful. The way we relay our thoughts, whether in dialogue, written form or even just using facial expressions is what really dictates what type of person we are; our reactions are stronger determinants of who we are as opposed to our actions. Homie, do you understand what i am trying to say? Respect has become a profound characteristic. Everyone is selling their soul to the devil and his successful plan of spreading ignorance, and most of us don’t know the currency that is being exchanged.

Journalism to me, is not just writing. It is as i already opinionated; our reactions, expressions and everything that we physically evoke. Our life is a journal. One day, I strongly believe it is going to be read out to us detail by detail. My ‘ism’ is the tone and the ambiance I pray it will be read out to me, and that is what us writers need to bring to light. Twitter, snapchat, facebook are all recorded journals, and i am not God, but yes i do judge every single recording. The only reason i try to be funny, i try to be positive and i try to be creative; is so that people judge me, and try to plagarise the aspects of judgement which emancipate them from the invisible bars of negativity. Freedom of expression is different to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech does not, cannot and will not ever exist no matter how much we try to convince ourselves it does. What we feel is limitless, but words, although heavily abundant, are very limited. Simply, we cannot freely speak our minds because we are limited to what we can say. On top of that, those who speak words of truth in todays world end up killed, not dead. Death lives within our souls, not our body. Our body allows us to speak, but our souls allow us to express.

So if we wouldn’t be so harsh to a baby, why are we so harsh to others who may have lived an extra couple thousand days. I believe it’s because we all know our innocence has dispersed into thin air, and we find pleasure in catalysing the guilt and spreading it infectiously. Satire is that medium by which we can relay the harsh truth in a not-so-harsh fashion. Laughing is the an outlet of energy which transfers positive innocence back into our life. So with all the evil and negativity going on around us, i believe humour is that method that will help bring journalists, writers, editors, or whatever you want to call us back on the market. That is what will appreciate the exchange rate of our journals and souls. Innocence, laughter and positivity is simply a currency the devil cannot afford.
