Large Language Models (LLMs) have emerged as a transformative technology that seems to present the potential to revolutionize industries from basic tasks such as Customer service to Complex roles such as Medical Breakthroughs, LLMs have proven to be very useful.

However, despite the advantages that the usage of LLMs brings into our digital ecosystem, they still possess significant cybersecurity risks that could be exploited negatively. This article explores these risks and how they can be mitigated.

LLMs: What are they?

Before jumping into the Cybersecurity risks associated with LLMs, let’s have a deeper look on what LLMs are.

LLMs are advanced AI systems characterized by their size (or number of parameters) and trained using vast amounts of data. They use this training to generate and understand text in a way that mimics human communication.
