What Would It Take To Turn This Into A Poem?
Vito Pasquale

Hope you don;t mind, Vito Pasquale, I followed the instructions, tongue mostly in cheek, and this is the poem I came up with:

- twelve photographs fanned over white sheets
-a dozen a dime in captured time
-all wearing Gloriana’s smile
-as it was in the first
-edges worn round with touch on touch
-memory in sepia
-like hope he holds it in both hands
-ten digits on the turgid foot
-whether he knows or says why
-pulling free
-rain on belly and chest
-then to bathe the torn
-unbound within
