Interview with Stephen Cook
-Stephen, how can you describe your company in one phrase?
-Aircraft Travel Company is an international association of professionals in tourism industry, and we are presenting a multifunctional platform Aircraft Network.
-You got me interested, what is your Aircraft Network?
-It is a blockchain based eco-system, created to ensure affordability of cryptocurrency payments and high-quality tourist services all around the world.
What does it imply? We are developing a platform based on blockchain technology for gathering, storage and constantly updating data about airplanes and hotels. Such a solid system, in my view, will enable to analyze either global financial environment in tourism industry or domestic. I also hope, that our platform will contribute to strengthen the position of cryptocurrency in current financial framework, because clients will be able to pay for services on Aircraft website using more than thirty cryptocurrencies.
As a result of a series of researches we revealed that a lot of people earning with mining have difficulties in exchanging their funds into national currency or even Bitcoin and Ethereum.
-So is your product focused on miners, why?
My brother, Richard, was mining back to 2012. He had 4 video cards and he was consumed with idea of yet unknown Bitcoin. I suppose his awareness in data science helped him to predict the growth and success of cryptocurrency, thought it was difficult to foresee such a growth (in winter 2017).
-The current conditions in the cryptocurrency market is hard to call positive, why did you decide to launch the platform?
The idea of Aircraft network originated last year, we have been involving the team and developing the business strategy for months before the announcement. it would be a tremendous waste of our work to drop it.
Like I said, holders of cryptocurrency assets and entrepreneurs in the field heed to act out of either product’s considerations or global market in general. Despite the high volatility of cryptocurrencies, they already have become a factor of people’s financial lives. The cohesion of these people for the monetary stability and prosperity is the most important effect for the market growth.
-I see you and your brother are a big fan of cryptocurrency. What about other members of your team?
I am glad that the benefits of cryptocurrencies as main means of payment are undisputed now, because this has influenced the flow of experts in the field. Many members of Aircraft who are not directly responsible for development of a blockchain network, have requisite knowledge of cryptocurrency anyway.
And I can affirm that the participation in the formation of such extensive tech projects can develop professional skills better than qualification programs. New experience is a pushing the frontiers of knowledge, increasing the competitiveness.
