Finding Direction

She shakes the door knob to another exit. It creaks and clicks like it had unlocked. She pushed the splintering wood door hard.

Nothing. It doesn’t open.

Where was she supposed to go? The team left her in this maze of a shabby building for what? A test?

She had all morning to escape, but, she spent most of it trying to center herself. Ok, if she were honest, it was more like moping around. But, she considers that an important part of emotional management.

Now she wants out, before she would have to face whatever happens at 6:30.
