Daylight savings time, Christmas, Yule, 5G, natural rhythms, seasons, they all have me thinking.

The only time and truth is Now.

Yes we have clocks so we can have an agreed upon time to meet at certain places. But other than those one off meetings, our truth is in our bodies!

If you’re tired, sleep, if something feels right, do it, if it feels wrong, don’t.

Even vaccination. If it feels right, do it, if it feels wrong don’t. Remember the saying “if all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?”

You need to know your own truth. Follow the seasons. The darker seasons beg you to follow, not defy them, and the same with the lighter seasons.

I swear changing the clocks in the spring feels like not giving employees too much daylight to themselves, or they may realize they don’t want to go to work and that they are capable of so much more!

And onto Yule. I thought we had to focus on Christ because it’s CHRISTmas, but a good friend reminded me that: it is only Christmas so that the pagans would adapt to the Christianity that was forced on them and let go of Yule. My my we liked power and control back then eh? And if we look around, you may see people still trying to exert power and control now, where maybe they should not…

Yule is the celebration of coming together – it’s dark, it’s cold, so let’s helps each other get through the winter.

As an astrologer this is a critical point! The closer one is born before Yule, the more likely they will want to work together, the further they are born after Yule, the more likely they will want to be independent. And this is true for every planet in their natal chart. And it’s important, because we need the variety, not everyone being the same!

So, does this mean we shouldn’t celebrate Christ/Jesus or Christmas? No! Do what you do, as you have your own traditions that have meaning.

But beneath know the earth has a natural timing and so do you!

Sleep when you are tired, wake when and how you are ready. Listen to what you want to do and what you don’t want to do. Know what feels right and what feels wrong. Align your mind, heart and values. Speak your truth, not your lies.

This will get harder when 5G is launched, as the vibration of 5G disrupts our ability to feel the rhythm of the earth and our selves!

As for Jesus, everyone knows no one has just one or two days to be celebrated (we all have value on days that are not our birthday or anniversary).

Jesus embodies unconditional (self and other) love, from which we can heal. Buddha represents wisdom of being. Both enlightened. Both reminders that anyone can become enlightened. And there are many more examples, in all faith-based systems.

The gifts. Well. That is up to you. If it feels good, do it, if not, don’t.

But turf the pressure on self and others. That never helps anyone!

My latest thought on expecting others to behave a certain way is to switch to gratitude:

“I am grateful that I get to observe the outcome of different ways of being, without having to try it all myself. Thank you.”

“God is not a stuff-ologist! Don’t pray for stuff! Don’t make convenience the thing you value most (your values need to be deeper than that!). And don’t think that people who have stuff have been blessed by God!” ~ Caroline Myss

And here is my parent-child add to this: “Don’t get your child assistive learning technology to increase their grades! Get them what they need to feel empowered in their own ability to do what they want to do and to feel good about who they are and what they have to offer. Grades are someone else’s opinion. Who gives a rats butt about that?! I hope you are not teaching your kids to care what others think of them, especially over what they think of themselves!”

Gratitude! ❤️🙏💪🧘‍♀️✨
