How long are you going to stay phone free?
Ty Norwood

It’s something I’ve factored into my life, so it’s become my norm — I know how easy it is to do now. You can save hundreds, even thousands, of dollars annually by using a phone outside of a service provider this way. So I imagine doing this long term — I don’t see any reason right now why I would stop.

I haven’t had issues trying to reach people or be reached. There are even apps that you can use that take voicemail calls if you’re offline, and when you’re back on WiFi you can check missed calls and call them back. There are a ton of apps that support this experience.

I should probably write a follow up post about how easy it is to function with a WiFi-only phone…
